The Kilmainhamwood U-8’s & U-10’s had fantastic victories over local rivals Nobber on Thursday 22^nd .

The U-8’s team lined out with Dylan Maguire in goals, a solid defence of Killian Russell, Oisin Reilly, Colin Plunkett and Keffe Carolan. The free-scoring forwards were Owen Finegan, Sean Bennett, Ryan Stafford and Ordhan Keogan.

The U-10’s secured victory with a last minute Niall Bennett free to finish 0-9 to 0-8. The game was played at a frantic pace with man of the match Brian Cassidy superb throughout. Jonathan Reilly was in goals and may a few vital saves to keep the Nobber lads at bay. Cian Murphy, Niall Bennett and Dylan Owens were the full backs and dominated for large parts of the game. Dean Carolan and Jamie Fagan were in the half back line and moped up loads of ball. Brian Cassidy & Declan Reilly were in the middle of the field and Brian Cassidy worked tirelessly and Declan played well and went in full back to let Niall Bennett out to midfield for end of the second half. Niall Conlon and Keith Reilly were in the half forward line and tormented the Nobber defence all evening. Killian Plunkett and John McCreevy and made up a lethal full forward line.
