The Kilmainhamwood GFC Annual General Meeting
The Kilmainhamwood GFC AGM was held on Wednesday 25.11.09 @ 20:00 in the Day Care Centre. A reasonably good attendance listened with interest as the following officers (among others) were elected.
Chairman : Henry Corbally.
Vice Chairman : Christo Shankey.
Secretary : Francie Owens.
Vice Secertary : Padraig Smith.
Treasurer : Shane Russell.
Vice Treasurer : Percy McKeever.
The Secretary Francie Owens read the minutes of the previous AGM and they were accepted by the meeting.
The Secretary Francie Owens read an account of the year gone and it was accepted by the meeting.
The Chairman Henry Corbally spoke in glowing terms of the success of the year gone by. He thanked the players, the coaching staff, the mentors, the sponsors, the ticket sellers, the development & grounds committee for a great years work. He also thanked everyone, past & present, who helps make the club what it is today.
The Treasurer Shane Russell presented a detailed report of the accounts for the year gone by and it was accepted by the meeting.
There was lots of other business including:-
- Juvenile Development
- Progress of the clubhouse development
- Training plans for the new year
- The Development Fund Draw

The Kilmainhamwood GFC Development Fund Draw is to take place on Saturday 05.12.09 for €12,000 in Cash Prizes.
1st prize is €10,000. Tickets €20 each (or 6 for €100) are available from members & local traders.
A suggestion to help sell more tickets is to text all your Contacts in your phone with this sample message:-
