The week in review:-
Sat 19th Jan
- 19:00 in Castletown: Kilmainhamwood first team took on IFC outfit Castletown in their first challenge match of the year. Despite coming second on the scoreboard, it was a good opportunity for the new management team to see where we are. While there is a lot of room for improvement, it was encouraging to see some of the young lads get a taste of first-team football with Niall Conlon excelling. Old guards Paddy Carolan, Michael Shankey and David Russell showed that there is still life in the auld dogs yet.

Kilmainhamwood GFC and Cormeen Sports Complex present “Night at the OsKaRs” on Saturday 1st June 2019 in The Headford Arms Hotel, Kells. We plan to hold an information night on Saturday 23rd February 2019 with the official launch on Friday 15th March 2019 … more information will follow as we confirm details.
Kilmainhamwood GFC Community Healthy Club are pleased to open our walking track to the community. We have launched an 8-week “Let’s Get the ‘Wood Walking” programme and walks will take place every Wednesday evening at 7:30pm and Saturday morning at 9:30am. Registration takes place beforehand and the fees are €20 per adult, €10 per child or €50 per family … the €50 per family will also entitle you, and your family, to full club membership.
