Congratulations to the K-wood U16 team who defeated Wolfes Tones in the U16 Summer League Group D final on Monday evening. A superb game that we were leading by 10 points with 5 minutes to go. There were lots of stoppages during the second half so after 4 minutes of added time Wolfe Tones were leading by one and missed a free to lead by two. However, the men from the ‘Wood stood up to the plate and engineered some wonderful scores to run out two point victors. Well done to Richard Gillespie and Ray Madden and all the coaches and parents for making it a marvelous occasion.

Another great display from the Meath minors who are now into the All Ireland semi-finals. Derry came back strong in the second half, but Niall Bennett's introduction helped to steady the ship and get the Royals over the line. Hope to see a big Kilmainhamwood contingent to cheer on Niall and the lads in the Semi Final http://www.hoganstand.com/Meath/Article/Index/288430

Great win for the Meath Under 16s in the Gerry Reilly cup over Offaly. Fantastic performance from our very own Brian Cassidy who played a commanding role at center halfback. The result means that Meath top their group and go into the quarterfinals. http://www.hoganstand.com/Meath/Article/Index/288444
