Sunday nights lotto draw was for a jackpot of €8,600! The draw took place in Ballintubber Resource centre with Jackie Heneghan covering the draw while being ably assisted by Club Chairnan Tony O'Connor & former Club Pro Bridie Heneghan! After the numbers were checked again there no winner of the jackpot which rises to €8,600 for next Sunday nights draw.
It was also mentioned about the sad passing of Joan Finnerty over the weekend after a brief battle. She had compiled the Club accounts for numerous AGM's over the years and was always a friendly face at many Club events. Sincere sympathies to her husband Martin (a former treasurer) sons Kevin & Stephen who have all worn the red & white as well as daughter Siobhan. May she Rip.
