As a player of Mallow Ladies Gaelic football I agree to:
Respect all mentors of the club and other clubs (coaches, managers, players, selectors, club officials, etc.)
Respect and accept the decisions of the coaches and mentors of the club; the coaches will follow club guidelines.
Play fair at training and at matches.
Abide by the rules of the Association both on and off the playing field.
Behave according to their Code of Conduct when travelling to away events.
Behave in a manner that avoids bringing the sport of Ladies Gaelic Football into disrepute.
Talk to the Children’s Liaison Office Caroline Barry, if you have any problems.
As a player of Ladies Gaelic Football I will never:
Use violence or physical contact that is not allowed within the rules.
Be abusive or aggressive with officials, team mates or opponents.
Bully or use bullying tactics to isolate another player.
Treat other players and mentors/coaches in a disrespectful manner.
Parents Code of Conduct:
I will respect the rules and procedures set down in the Ladies Gaelic Football Association’s Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Young Players.
I will respect my children’s team mates, mentors (e.g. managers, coaches, selectors) and other parents, as well as players, parents and coaches from opposing teams. I will encourage my child to treat other players, coaches, selectors and managers with respect.
I will give encouragement and promote positive accomplishments whether from my child, her team mates, her opponents or the officials.
