Last Thursday night Streete A travelled to Aradagh to play Tyrrellspass A in the final of the Basil Sullivan memorial cup. There was a great show of support for both teams on the night. There was no question that the two best teams had made it to the final. There was top class bowls played and at half time there was still nothing between the teams. However Tyrrellspass got a few important shots in near the end and finished the stranger on the night. Well done to all concerned and hopefully next year a Streete team will bring this beautiful cup home to where it belongs.
Westmeath Bowls are having a presentation night next Friday in the Greville Arms Hotel Mullingar. This is shaping up to be a great night.
The works on the church are almost finished and all going well next Saturdays Mass will be back in the church.
