The Hurling MurderBall match is a hyper-intense, fast-paced goals only game with no referee and no let-up, as the ball is constantly in play.
It’s the complete opposite of the modern inter county game. Zero cyclical play meaning continuous flow for 20 minutes before half time break and back for 20 minutes more.
It’s not for the faint-hearted but importantly it’s safeguarded and with the perfect state-of-the-art surface of the Loughrea AstroPitch.
We’re looking to put together a squad of 23 to play 2 games of mixed gender hurling every week, we welcome everyone to wear their club jerseys with pride.
Although this game will be based in Loughrea it’s an open invitation to every hurler or camoige player in the county. Currently we have 12 different clubs represented, we even allow people from Tipperary to play!!
This initiative is 100% funded by the Galway Sports Partnership for whole month of June so there will be no fees for the aforementioned dates.
