No Winner of last nights jackpot. Next week you will be playing for a whopping €6700. Lucky dip went to Kathy Moran of Allenwood, Co.Kildare. The senior team recorded a gutsy draw against Senior championship outfit Avondale in Rathdrum last Tuesday night. In a game that both sides could have won and lost, a slow start by our lads meant they trailed 7 points to 5 at the break. Avondale opened the gap to three after the break before a Kilmac purple patch which seen us 2 points up with 12 minutes to go. Avondale fought back and went into the lead but the lads dug deep to work the ball down the field and register the equalizing point before Eddie Leonard blew for full time. The team are stepping up preparations for the business end of the season with a 2 day training camp this weekend and a busy July schedule. Last Friday seen the marriage of Sean "Shapes" Creavin and the beautiful Elisha Campbell. With the ceremony taking place in Kilquade under a perfect blue sky followed by a reception in the Arklow Bay Hotel. Some dubbed it the Kilmac GAA Social event of the year.
