Cardiac Screening

A Cardiac Screening clinic will take place on Saturday the 29th of July from 9:30am to 5:00pm in the clubhouse. Each screening will take approx. 20 minutes.

Bookings can be made online.

  2. Click on the ‘Online Booking’
  3. Enter the clinic code killoe

Screening costs €79 per person while Laya Healthcare members can avail of it for free. The GAA’s Medical Scientific and Welfare Committee recommend cardiac screening for all players over the age of 14 years. 

 

Division 1 V Colmcille

Our Senior team secured top spot in group 1 of Division 1 league with a one point win over Colmcille in Fr. McGee Park on Wednesday evening. A late goal by Ciaran Donohoe sealed a 2-8 to 1-10 victory. The win sees Killoe top the group. 

 

Gilmore Cup Semi-Final

Our Junior team had a 4 point win over St. Brigids Killashee in a thrilling encounter in the semi final of the Gilmore Cup in Emmet Park last Friday evening. Full time score Killoe 1-12 St. Brigids Killashee 1-8. After the game the Division 3 Cup was presented to our captain Tommy Reilly by Longford County Board Chairman Albert Cooney. The team now go on to play the winners of Grattan Óg and Clonguish in the Final. Well done to the team & management.

 

Division 1 V Abbeylara

With top spot already secured in the group our seniors unfortunately fell to a one-point defeat away to Abbeylara on Saturday evening. Full time score: Abbeylara 3-8 Killoe 2-10. 

 

Longford Agricultural Show

The Longford Agricultural Show took place on the farm of Gerry Hagan on Sunday last, and a very enjoyable day was had by all who attended. Thanks to all our members who volunteered as stewards on the day. Many thanks to our lotto sellers who sold at our lotto table in the show and thanks to everyone who bought a ticket for the draw. 

 

Upcoming Fixtures 

Our Junior team face the winners of Grattan Óg & Clonguish in the final of the Gilmore Cup which is scheduled for next weekend. Time & date TBC

 

Our Senior team face Longford Slashers in the semi-final of the Leader Cup on Tuesday the 11th of July at 8pm in Emmet Park.
