Social & Presentation Night

A date for your diary: Our club social and presentation night takes place on Saturday April 23rd at 9:00pm in Longford Rugby Club. Free admission and all members & supporters are welcome to attend. Our local Club draw as part of the GAA National Car Draw will also take place on the night.

Club Fundraiser

Once again the GAA have launched the National Club Draw for 2022. The draw takes place  on June 4th 2022. This is always a great fundraiser for us and we are asking all our members for their support. Tickets will be available from all committee members and online at €10 each. A full list of the prizes are available on our facebook page. Along with the National Draw we are also holding a seperate draw on April 23rd at our awards night for €1000 in prizes. 1st Prize of €500 and 5 prizes of €100 each. Any tickets purchased after the 23rd will still be eligible for the National Draw. Please Support.

Condolences 

The club extends its deepest sympathies to the Hagan family on the death of Kevin. May he rest in peace. 

Longford U20s

Well done to the Longford U20 team on a fantastic win over Wexford in the opening round of the Leinster Championship. The team now take on Meath in the Quarter final at 2pm this Saturday in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park. 

Division 5 V Legan Sarsfields

Our Division 5 team recorded a 2-14 to 1-6 win over Legan Sarsfields in round 1 of division 5. Well done to all the team and management on a great opening win of the year. Congratulations to all the young players who made their adult football debut. 

Upcoming Fixtures

Our Division 5 team are away to Cashel this Saturday evening at 7PM in round 2 of the league. 

Due to the success of the Longford U20s, the first game of division 1 will now take place on the 23rd of April with our Seniors at home to Clonguish. Time & Date TBC
