Welcome to this week’s club news,
Farewell to Patsy: Our late club President, Patsy Vickers was laid to rest on Tuesday. There was a large presence from the club there who gave him a guard of honour. His hearse also made one last journey to the club before his burial. Our former club chairperson, Fergus O’Brien gave a lovely eulogy too. Thanks to all who attended and gave him the send-off he deserved.
In addition, there was also a minute’s silence held at last week’s Leinster Senior Football Championship match between Wicklow and Meath in Navan.

U10 Ladies Footballers Rule Roundwood! Juvenile ladies football is on fire in the club at the moment. If any evidence was needed, it was presented last weekend when we travelled up to Roundwoord with four teams. Great numbers, great fun and great players!
Adult Men’s Footballers Moving Well: Our intermediate (1st) adult men’s football team had a great win at home to Kiltegan yesterday. The victory leaves them second in division 1A and well placed to push for promotion to the top division. The lads are showing just the right attitude to regain their senior status at the first time of asking.
