Welcome to this week’s club news, Senior footballers top table: Our senior footballers (1st adult) team overcame Avondale last Sunday by one point on a final score line of 1:16 -1:15. The radar like free taking of Shaun Cranley was key to the victory in a game in which we spurned several presentable goal chances. The now lie top of the division 1A. Weekly lotto: The winning numbers in last week’s lotto were 9, 11, 15 & 24. The weekly cash prize winners were Bronagh Daly and Dermot Blake. Monday’s jackpot is €12,000. Remember, club subs only fund about a third of our costs, the rest we fundraise. Get your tickets HERE. U11 hurlers on the treble: This week, boys born in 2009 played hurling matches on a full size pitch. Overall, thirty budding hurlers took part forming three separate teams competing against Michael Dwyers, Aughrim and Glenealy at Balinakill. 
Senior hurlers open championship campaign: Our senior hurling (1st adult team) play their opening match in the championship this Sunday when they take on Bray Emmets in Wicklow Town at 11:30. All support welcome. Ladies footballers burning brightly: Great win for our adult ladies football team this week. They overcame a strong Bray Emmets team with a stirring second half performance. There was the bare minimum between the team at the break, but the girls powered on to win 2-12 : 1-07 while at the same time testing out the new scoreboard!
