Welcome to this week’s club news, Ladies light it up: Our newly promoted adult ladies football team kicked off their season last Friday with a home match against a seasoned St Pat’s, Wicklow Town. The game also saw the debut of the club’s new electronic scoreboard. On the night, the match went against the ladies but it wasn’t for the want of effort or determination. 
Weekly lotto: Did you know that only about a third of our income comes from membership subs, the rest we fundraise of which our weekly lotto is our main one? The winning numbers in last week’s lotto were: 10, 18, 19 & 22. The weekly cash prize winners were Niall Molloy and Mary Anne Wedgeworth. This week’s jackpot is €12,000 so get your tickets HERE. Leinster leaders: After qualifying for final of the Leinster Gold Division Shield final, our U13 boys footballers played St Manchans, Offaly on Saturday in wet and windy conditions We were on the right side of a tough match and pulled away during the last 5 minutes. Many thanks too to all our parents who made hot chocolate for the lads afterwards! 
Dinner dance: The club’s annual social and awards night takes on 30th March in Greystones Rugby Club. It’s always a good night. To obtain a ticket contact Anto Byrne, 087 8188871 or Daniel O’Connor 086 1541260. Adult camogie battle the elements: Also having their first outing of the season were our adult ladies camogie team. In near gale force conditions, they toughed it out against an experienced Cuala team. It was a really useful workout ahead of the forthcoming season.
