Sarsfield Ladies FootballCongrats to Sarsfield ladies Senior Football them who won Leinster Senior Club Football championship on Sunday. All roads now lead to London for the All Ireland Quarter final. Hard luck to the intermediate ladies team who were narrowly beaten in their Leinster semi final on Saturday. HurlingThe Under 21 hurlers lost their semi final to a strong Rosenallis team on Sunday morning. It is a very young team with most of the team eligible for at least 2 more years. In fact, four of the players will be playing minor in 2014. The focus now switches to the forthcoming Leinster Junior hurling competition as Mountmellick are representing Laois. We play Wolfe Tones from Longford. The match is fixed for Sunday Nov 3rd @ 2.30 - in Hugh Devine Park Edgeworthstown.
