The 1989 team had a great day out last Sunday´s County Football Final, they were invited by the Cork County Board for winning the county final 25 year ago. The team had a meal at the Temple Inn before the game. Ger Lane representing the County Board, Larry Tompkins 89 team captain and club chairman Christy Collins all made excellent speeches during the meal. The team were introduced to the supporters before the senior final and they got a tremendous reception. The players went to Larry Tompkins pub after the game and had a mighty night there.
The U/13 team welcomed Gabriel òg to Moneyvolihane on Wednesday night for the semi final of the West Cork Cup.The home side played some great football on the the night and ran out convincing winners in the end.The panel has also qualified for the league final.

Sean Walsh, Alex Minihane, Shane O Driscoll and Andrew Whelton were on the St. Fachtnas U 15 team that beat Dungarvan CBS in the championship. James McCarthy was on the management team.
The club are now promoting the Cork county board draw ,anyone interested in joining can contact the club officers.
