There was no winner of the lotto, numbers drawn were 13-24-36 next weeks jackpot is €5,500, draw will take place at Lills bar Castletownshend.
The U16 team were well beaten at home by Ahane Gaels last week. Ahane were deserving winners on the night by 4 -18pts. to 1-09pts. The club had four representatives on the Cork senior team at the final whistle last Saturday evening in Tullamore. Our intercounty players will have a busy August weekend Brian Hurley, Damien Cahalane, Mark Collins, Sean Dineen with the seniors against Mayo on Sunday. Micheal Hurley and Colm O Driscoll will be playing with the Cork minors against Dublin on the bank holiday Monday.
The Castlehaven U10 girls played a challenge match with Rosscarbery on Saturday morning in moneyvolihane. The girls played some great football and finished with a great win on a scoreline of 10-08pts. to 3- 03pts. The underage club would like to thank the collectors for the annual flag day last Friday, also the business' for allowing us to collect at their premises and everyone who contributed on the day.
The clubs annual summer camp takes place from Aug 5th to 8th.
