The U14 team is into the Western Region U14 A final after a great victory over Clonakilty at Rosscarbery on Tuesday evening. It was a very exciting match with both teams playing great attacking football. Castlehaven played all the football for the first half and lead at half time by 1-09pts. to 0-04pts . A physically stronger Clonakilty dominated the first twenty minutes of the second half to lead by seven points with ten minutes left .Castlehaven regained their composure and showed tremendous character to score two late goals ,  to win the match by 3-13 pts. to 4-09 pts. The junior 1 team are  top of section 2 of the league after a good win over O Donovan Rossa on Friday evening. The underage club had the following players involved on Cork development squads U/14 - Sean Walsh, Darragh o Neill , U/16 - Ciaran O’Sullivan, Cathal Maguire, Ryan Foley , U/17 - Ronan Walsh, Conor Cahalane, Shane Kearney, Patrick Bohane.

The clubs sends best wished  to Damien Cahalane for the Munster hurling final next Sunday.

Michael Dineen made his inter county debut for the Cork junior team that lost to Kerry in the Munster final last Wednesday evening.

Colm O Driscoll and Michael Hurley both played well for the Cork minors in their defeat by Kerry ,

The Cork senior team had a very disappointing performance against Kerry on Sunday Brian Hurley and Damien Cahalane started ,Mark Collins came on as a substitute in the second half of the game .
