There was no winner of the lotto, numbers drawn were 11-12-33 next weeks jackpot is €2,250, draw will take place at Dintys Bar.

The club have a very busy weekend ahead with the Senior and Junior 1 teams playing the first round of their respective championships. The seniors play St. Vincents, the teams played in last years championship which was a very tough game so it will be a very competitive match.
The seniors had a good win over Aghada away in the league on Saturday. The team played some very good football and Castlehaven lead at half time by 0-10pts. to 0-03pts. The forwards scored some great scores in the second half and won by 2-14pts., to 0-06pts.

The J1 team have a very important game against Barryroe in the first round of the championship on next Monday because this year there is relegation from the J1 championship.
The J1 team had a very good league win over Ilen Rovers at home on Wednesday evening. It was a very competitive game with both teams playing attacking football. Ilen got three early points to lead but Castlehaven got a great goal before half time to lead by 1-07pts. to 0-07pts. Ilen put Castlehaven under pressure early in the second half to draw level. Castlehaven regained their composure to score thee late points to win by 1-12pts. to 0-13pts. Castlehaven U 12 team played two games recently in grade A and D against Carbery Rangers. Playing 13 aside in the A grade the panel on the night was. R Courtney, J McNulty. L Mc Carthy. T O Mahony. J Cahalane. F Collins. S Bohane. R Burchill. J Baudains. D O’Donovan. R Minihane. T Collins. A O Donoghue. S Brown. D Maguire. C McCarthy. U O’Donovan.
Ross started very well scoring 2 goals and 2 points before the Haven got to grips with the game. A O’Donoghue then got a goal for Haven and D O’Donovan scored a great point. Half time score 1-1 to Ross 2-4. The second half was much better for the Haven scoring 2-7 to Ross 2-2. Final score was 3-9 to Ross 4-6. a draw and a fair result .
Two nights later it was back to Ross with the D team. The older U 12 players are not allowed play in this grade and this ensures that all panel members get to play full games against their own age group.

This young team played well on the night against a Ross team that was stronger in many key positions. They worked hard and we saw many glimpses of their future potential. The final score Haven 5-4 to Ross 8-9.
