The Junior team began the league with a good victory away to Carbery Rangers on Sunday. Castlehaven started slowly and conceded an early goal to be behind at half time 1-06pts. to 0-08pts. Castlehaven got an early goal in the second half which was the decisive score and went on to win by 1-13pts. to 1-09pts.

The U16 D team lost at home to Adrigole in the 11 a side league on Monday evening. A physically stronger Adrigole team got two early goals to lead at half time by 2-03pts. to 1-02pts. Castlehaven improved for half-time but Adrigole ran out deserving by 6-08pts. to 2-07pts. The team James Maguire, Michael McCarthy, Martin Hourihane, Gavin Foley, Sean Walsh, Dermot O’Driscoll, Liam Browne, Rory Maguire, Daniel Nolan, Shane O’Driscoll, Kevin O’Donovan.Subs: Daniel O’Mahony, Eamonn Collins.
Brian Hurley, Mark Collins and Damien Cahalane all played for Cork in the league semi-final defeat to Dublin and Sean Dineen was also on the panel.
The underage club are to hold a Easter coaching camp for all players on Friday 25th.
