There was no winner of the lotto, numbers drawn were 18-30-36 next weeks jackpot is €7,250, draw will take place at Fairfield Bar. The clubs victory dinner dance on Saturday night in the West Cork Hotel was a great night of celebration for our players and supporters. Our seniors, U16s and minors received their county medals and the 1973 panel got a presentation from the club. All the speakers were excellent and our guest speaker Marty Morrissey had great light hearted banter with our players and supporters. It was a great social occasions meeting former players and supporters who traveled long distances to be at the dinner. The night finished with everyone enjoying the dancing and singing.
All our senior panel and supporters arrived home from the clubs holiday during the week, they had a very enjoyable trip.
Brian Hurley and Nollaig Cleary were nominees for the over all winner of the Celtic Ross 2013 award.
Congratulations to Niall Cahalane this year's winner of the Buckley Financial West Cork GAA of Hall of Fame award.
Brian Hurley played for Carlow I T in the O Bryne cup during the week .
Mark Collins played for Cork in the McGrath cup last Sunday, they play Kerry in the final on Sunday.
The 2014 football season begins on Sunday when we welcome our neighbours O'Donovan Rossa to Moneyvolihane for the Tadhg Crowley cup.
Club membership is now due for this year, people can pay any club officer .
