The great year for the seniors ended on Sunday, whenthey lost to Dr Crokes in the Munster club championship. To win any game youneed to get the breaks and luck and on the day Crokes got the vital break. Weset up a defensive system and it kept us in the game for 50 minutes untilCrokes got a vital goal. The goal put six points between the teams andended the game as a contest, they won by 1-11pts. to 0-08pts. The supportersgave the team a standing ovations after the game for a brilliant three years offootball. The club wishes to thank the supporters who travelled to Killarneyand those who supported the team during the year. The players and teammanagement will be disappointed with the result but this panel have been greatambassadors for the parish for the last three years.
The club are into our third county final this year, after the U16 team hada very good win over Balinora in Enniskeane last Sunday in the county A semi-final.The game was played in very windy conditions. We had the elements in the first halfand used the wind well to lead at half time by 0-11pts to 0-00. At the start ofthe second half we scored three quick goals, which finished the game as acontest. We won by 4-15pts. to 0-00, the game was stopped with five minutesleft due to an injury to the Balinora goalie. They now play Macroom in thecounty final later on in November. The team Finbarr Maguire, Chulann O’Neill,Ciaran O’Sullivan, Colin O’Driscoll, Ryan Deasy, Ronan Walsh 0-01pts, AidanPearce, David McCarthy 0-02pts. The minors play Micheal MacCartaighs inthe Minor A county final on Sunday. The team have played some great gamesthis year and the club are asking all the parish come to the final and supportthe team.

As this is the final monthly draw, a new drawwill commence for December. Club members will be calling to households inthe parish over the next couple of weeks to promote the draw please support.
The ladies club and underage boys club had a very successful Halloweencamp on Friday night, the senior players took part in the coaching sessionsand everyone had refreshments afterward.
