Castlehaven GAA Club lotto results: There was no winner of the jackpot last weekend when the numbers drawn were 22-32-34. Consolation prizes were won by Dock Wall, Felix Russell, John Maguire. T ickets can be purchased online at www.castlehavengaa.ieNext week’s jackpot will be €1,200 on Monday 3rd October. The Castlehaven and Naomh Aban U17 teams played the West Div 2 Final this Sunday afternoon at Ballinacarriga. Castlehaven made a great start, they were excellent all over the pitch to lead by 0-06 pts to 0-01pts after 15 minutes. Naomh Aban started to get possession and thundered into the game. They kicked some fine points to let the half time score Castlehaven 0-07pts Naomh Aban 0-06pts. The sides were level at the start of the second half 0-08pts each. Castlehaven never panicked and kicked the next 0-04pts to lead by 0-12pts to 0-08pts with 15 minutes remaining. Naomh Aban struck for a goal to put a point between the sides with 10 minutes remaining. The Castlehaven team showed great resilience and played some great football scoring 2-02pts late in the game without reply. Full-time Castlehaven 2-14pts Naomh Aban 1-08pts. It was a typical local championship game between two very committed teams.
