Cork County U19 Premier 1 County semi final.
The Castlehaven and Valley Rovers U19 teams played the county semi final on Wednesday 17th at Ahiohill. It was a cracking game between two very balanced teams. It was point for point early on 2pts a piece after 10mins. Valley Rovers scored a goal to go 1-04pts to 0-02pts up after 20 minutes. Castlehaven never panicked scoring 4pts to leave the score at half time 1-04pts to 0-06pts. Castlehaven were excellent after half time scoring 4 pts in a row making 10pts to 1-04pts. It was end from end at this stage. Castlehaven were leading by 2pts but Valley Rovers struck for their second goal with 6 minutes remaining. Valley Rovers added a point to lead by 2pts deep into injury time. Castlehaven needed something special and in the last play the team worked a great move to score a winning goal. Congratulations to the team and management they now play Beara in the county final.
