Castlehaven GAA Club lotto results: There was no winner of the jackpot last weekend when the numbers drawn were 9-24 and 44. Consolation prizes were won by Tina Browne, Vivian O Callaghan and Dan Buckley. Tickets can be purchased online www.castlehavengaa.ie Next week’s jackpot will be €2,000 on Monday 27th September. Castlehaven traveled to play near neighbours O Donovan Rossa in the U13 final last Saturday evening . The home side got a great start scoring 1-03 pts without reply. Castlehaven settled scoring a goal to let the half time score Castlehaven 1-04pts O Donovan Rossa 1-08pts . The second half was from end to end with both sides kicking fine scores . The score at the second-half water break was Castlehaven 2-06pts O Donovan Rossa 1-12pts . Castlehaven finished the game strongly 1-04pts to lead by 0-02pts. The home side scored 2 late points to draw the game Full Time score Castlehaven 3-10pts O Donovan Rossa 1-16pts . The better balanced home side out-scored Castlehaven by 5pts to 3pts in extra time to win game by Castlehaven 3-13pts O Donovan Rossa 1-21pts . The Castlehaven players may be disappointed by the final result but all the players tried their best and competed very well . The first half was a very close affair with Castlehaven leading at half time by Castlehaven 0-09pts Naomh Aban 0-08pts . Both sides went all-out attack in the second half. Castlehaven played some great football and kicked some fine scores to win by Full Time Castlehaven 3-14pts Naomh Aban 2-09pts . The Castlehaven and Tadhg MacCarthaigh U16 teams played out another great match for the replay of the league final on Thursday 16th at Moneyvollahane. It was another titanic battle against an excellent Tadhg MacCarthaigh side. Goals win games and Castlehaven scored 5 over the hour to win the match by Full Time Castlehaven 5-05pts Tadhg MacCarthaigh 1-14pts . Congratulations to all the players and management on a mighty win.
