The Castlehaven ladies junior team were crowned county B champions last Saturday evening in Dunmanway . They defeated a gallant O Donovan Rossa side in a top quality final . Congratulations to the players and management team on a great day for the parish .
The Castlehaven u12 team played Bantry Blues at home last Monday evening in the Div 2 final . The game was even early on with Castlehaven up by 1pt at the water break . Castlehaven were excellent before the break scoring 2-04pts to lead at half time by 2-07pts to 0-03pts.
Bantry had the aid of the breeze in the second half and kicked some fine points after the break . Castlehaven scored two goals midway through the second half to extend their lead. Bantry never gave up but Castlehaven picked off some late points to win by 5-13pts to 3-09pts . Congratulations to the players and management on the great win and playing fine football during the year.

The Castlehaven u16 team traveled to play the Ibane Gaels in Timoleague on Saturday afternoon . The game was a shootout with both sets of forwards on top . The game finished level 5-07pts at full time . The game went to extra time and the home side finished the game stronger winning by 7-13pts to 5-09pts .
