The Castlehaven senior team bowed out of the championship after a titanic struggle with Carbery Rangers last Saturday in Skibbereen .
Carbery Rangers had the aid of a strong wind in the first half to lead by 6pts after 15 mins . Castlehaven started to improve as the half progressed and cut the deficit to 1pts just before the break . Catlehaven had a disastrous 3 mins coming up to half time conceding 2 goals to leave the half time score Castlehaven 0-06pts Carbery Rangers 2-07pts .Castlehaven played some great football after the break scoring 7pts in a row to draw level with 20 mins remaining. The game was end to end at this stage with Carbery Rangers stretching their lead to 3pts on the 60 min.Castlehaven went all out attack and scored a goal to draw level at full time .

The Castlehaven junior team played Carbery Rangers in the 3rd round of the championship last Sunday night in Skibbereen .
