There was no winner of the weekly lotto numbers drawn 4-10-13 next weeks jackpot is €10,600 draw at Annie Mays on Mon 1st. Congratulations to the Castlehaven senior players and management team for they will be playing division 1 league football for next year 2020. They were promoted with still one league game to play. The Castlehaven U14 team played Sam Maguires in their final league fixture last Friday evening. In a high scoring game ,with plenty fine football played by both teams Castlehaven won by FT 7-07pts to 4-09pts. The Castlehaven U12 girls continued their winning ways with a fine league performance over a very capable St Colums team at Moneyvoulihane. The exchanges were very even in the first half and only two points separated the teams at half time; 2-05pts to 2-03pts.
Castlehaven scored 1-02pts without reply in the first 10 minutes of the second half but the Castlehaven defence needed to be at their best to keep the Kealkil girls at bay. Some excellent teamwork by the Haven girls resulted in some great scores and Castlehaven finished very strongly winning on a scoreline of 3- 12pts to 2-08pts.
