The Castlehaven U21 team bowed out of the divisional championship after they were defeated by O Donovan Rossa in Leap last Saturday.
Both teams were nervous early on turning over the ball and missing scoring chances . Castlehaven settled first to lead by 3 pts after 15 mins .O Donovan Rossa finished the first half strongly to lead at half time by 0-08pts to 0-05pts .Castlehaven got an excellent goal after half time to draw level . The next 10 mins was end to end with both teams struggling to score . O Donovan Rossa got a penalty with 10 mins remaining to lead by 4pts .Castlehaven went all out attack but O Donovan Rossa held on to win by 1-12pts to 1-08pts .The efforts of the Castlehaven players was excellent today and now they will regroup for the county champioship .

The Castlehaven U14 team played Clonakilty in the league at Union Hall last Sunday morning .Castlehaven competed excellently over the hour scoring some fine scores .The physically stronger Clonakilty side went on to picked up the points by 5-08pts to 2-10pts .

The Castlehaven U14 girls made the long journey to play Kinsale away last Friday in the league .Castlehaven battled bravely against an excellent home side but Kinsale were deserving winners by 5-09pts to 4-04pts.
