The Castlehaven U15 team welcomed Bandon to Moneyvollahane on Wednesday 19th for 1st round of the championship .A physically stronger Bandon team were by far the better team over the hour . In the first half Castlehaven were very competitive but Bandon scored 4 goals before the break to lead at half time by 4-04pts to 0-06pts. The Castlehaven minors and Bantry Blues played a very competitive league game last Friday in Union Hall .Castlehaven made the better start scoring two first half goals to lead at half time 2-06pts to 1-04pts .Bantry came more into the game in the second half but Castlehaven held on to win by 3-10pts to 3-06pts.

The Castlehaven U12 girls played Bandon away on Wednesday 19th .It was a trilling game from start to finish with both teams playing excellent football.The home team started well and led ay halt time by 2-06pts to 0-07pts .Castlehaven improved their performance for the the second half and played some great football .
