There was no winner of the weekly club lotto, the numbers drawn were 13-32-39 next weeks draw will take place at Horse & Hound with a jackpot of €4,400.
The Castlehaven U21 team had a hard earned victory last Sunday over a very committed Bantry Blues team in the championship. A strong wind had a big influence on the game and it caused problems for both teams. Castlehaven had the wind in the first half but it took them a while to settle. Bantry registered the first score and the teams were level 0-02 pts each after 10 minutes. Castlehaven upped their performance and dominated the game for the next 10 minutes , they scored 1-03pts without reply. Castlehaven lead at half by 1-06pts to 0-03pts. The second half was all action with both teams playing attacking football. Bantry had the strong wind for the second half they made a dream start scoring 1-02pts to cut deficit to 0-1pt. Castlehaven were under fierce pressure and hanging on, Bantry were doing all the attacking. Castlehaven regained their composure and kicked 1-06pts to extend their lead to 2-11pts - 1-06pts. Bantry never gave up and got a late goal, Castlehaven held on to deservedly win by 2-11pts to 2-06pts. The Castlehaven Under 10 teams traveled to play Bantry over the weekend in two nine a side games of 25mins each half. All the players got game time in two excellent games. Team1 Score Castlehaven 4-5 Bantry 5-4. Sean Maguire, Ben Perez, Conn Buckley, Danny O Donovan, Donnagh Courtney, Eoin Maguire, Eamon O Donovan,Cillian McCarthy, Eoin Buckley,Olan Miles.
Team 2 Score Castlehaven 9-5 Bantry 6-8. Sean O Connell, Liam Deasy, James Maguire, Zack Moore, Niall O Callaghan, Daniel McCarthy, Adam Limrick, Brion Hurley, Dylan O Donoghue, Dylan Moloney, Patrick McCarthy.
Michael Hurley made a huge impact from the bench for the Cork U21 vs Limerick he scored 1-03pts. Cork now play Kerry in the Munster Final on Wed 29th in Pairc Ui Rinn @ 7:30pm.
Mark Collins played at center forward for Cork vs Meath in the league. The game was a draw and Mark scored 0-03pts.
Club membership is now due for all patrons by the 31st March. People can pay their membership to any of member committee.
