There was no winner of the weekly club lotto, the numbers drawn were 8-18-27 next weeks draw will take place at Tragumna with a jackpot of €4,200.
Castlehaven welcomed Ballingeary for a league game last Sunday at Moneyvollahane. The visitors got off to an excellent start and led by 1-03pts to 0-01pts after 20 min. Castlehaven scored 2pts before the break to leave the half time score as Ballingeary 1-05pts Castlehaven 0-03pts. Castlehaven upped the tempo for the second half to cut the deficit to 0-02pts . Castlehaven took the lead late in the game but the visitors scored a late goal to win by 2-06pts to 0-10pts. The Castlehaven minor team played neighbours O Donovan Rossa at home for their first league game of the season on Thursday night. The visitors made the better started and scored 0-07pts without reply after 20 minutes. Castlehaven settled and scored 2pts before the break to leave the HT score Castlehaven 0-02pts O Donovan Rossa 0-09pts. Castlehaven were a different team for the second half and competed away better. They scored 1-01pts early in the second half to cut the deficit to 0-02pts. Both teams were now playing attacking football and creating scoring chances, the game was end to end. The Rossa's extended their lead to 0-04pts but haven scored a goal to leave a point between the teams. Castlehaven went all out attack for the final minutes but the visitors held on to win by 0-12pts to 2-05pts.
