There was no winner of the weekly club lotto ,the numbers drawn were 17-18-3 next weeks draw will take place at Annie May's with a jackpot of €10,400.
The senior team played Valley Rovers in a very competitive league semi final last Saturday ,the game had championship intensity. Castlehaven won by 3-13pts to 3-12pts . Castlehaven have now qualified for the league final where they will play Carbery Rangers or Nemo Rangers
The U15 team welcomed Ballincollig to Monevollahane for 1st round of the Premier 2 championship last Friday night. They played earlier this year in the league a great game of football and tonight the teams were involved in another classic match. Castlehaven started the better and kicked some fine points to lead by 4 after 10 minutes. Castlehaven lead at half time by 4-09pts to 4-04pts. The second half was a different game with both defences on top. Ballincollig dominated the game after half time, they kicked 3 unanswered points to cut the deficit to a 1 point.. Some brilliant defending by the Castlehaven backs kept them in the game as Ballincollig were doing all the attacking . The U12A team played Bantry Blues away in the league semi final on Saturday evening. The physically stronger home team dominated the first half and lead at half time 2-10pts to 0-04pts. Castlehaven played better football in the second half but Bantry finished the game with two late goals, to win the match by 6-17pts to 5-05pts .
That was the final league game for the team this year overall they had a very successful season . The Castlehaven U12 E team had a great victory over Newcestown last Wednesday evening in the semi final of the shied competition. Castlehaven kicked some fine late scores to win the match by 6-12pts to 6-05pts . U16 A county league semi final Castlehaven vs Aghada on Sun 23 rd check time and venue.
