The Castlehaven U15 panel traveled away to play Mallow for the Premier league semi final last Saturday. They returned home with a fine victory after an excellent game of football. Castlehaven had to dig deep to defeat a very good Mallow team .The game was high scoring with both teams playing attacking football. Castlehaven got a good start and scored 5 early points. Mallow responded with 2 goals to lead by 2pts. Castlehaven got a goal just before half time, to level the
scores CH 1-07pts Mallow 2-04pts at HT. Mallow were the better team after half time and raced into 3 point lead. Castlehaven had a storming finish and scored some late points to win by 1-14pts to 2-08pts. They now play Cobh or Valley Rovers in the league final. The Castlehaven U12 A team had an excellent victory away against Carbery Rangers last Sunday evening. It was a typical U12 match with plenty goals .The first half was a very low scoring ,with backs on top ,Castlehaven led at half time by 1-02pts 0-01pt . The second half was high scoring ,with both teams playing attacking football. The Castlehaven U11 team traveled away to play Clann na nGael last Friday evening for the U12 E league play offs .A physically stronger home team dominated the game and won the match by 5-06pts to 1-04pts .
