There was no winner of the weekly club lotto, the numbers drawn were 27-42-44 next weeks draw will take place at McCarthy's Bar with a jackpot of €9,400.

The Castlehaven senior team continued their good league form with an excellent away win over St. Finbarrs last Sunday morning . The home team had the advantage of a strong wind for the first half but
Castlehaven got a great start with two early points and a goal .The Barrs finished the first half strongly and scored 1-03pts to lead at half time by 1-03pt to 1-02pt. The Castlehaven and O Donovan Rossa minor teams were involved in tremendous championship battle last Thursday evening in Rath . It was a typical local derby match between two whole hearted teams . The wind had a big influence on the result of the game . Castlehaven had the elements for the first half and used it well , by kicking some fine early scores . They played some great football , by moving the ball
quickly and lead by 1-05pts to 0-02pts after twenty minutes . O'Donovan Rossa scored two points just before the break and Castlehaven led by 0-04pts at half time 1-05pts to 0-02pts . The Rossas did all the attacking and dominated possession early in the second half .Both teams exchanged points but Rossas drew level with 10 minutes to go 1-08pt to 0-11pts .They went up by 0-03pts but Castlehaven responded with two points to cut the deficit to 0-01pts . Castlehaven attacked trying to get an equalizer ,but Rossaa got two late points to win 0-16pts to 1-10pts .The players were disappointed with the final result but the supporters were happy with the displays of all the players .
