Junior 1 league Castlehaven vs Tadhg Mac Carthaigh on Sat 27th away at 7:30 pm.

The Castlehaven U14 team played Bandon in the championship at Clonakilty on Monday evening . Castlehaven struggled to compete with a physically stronger Bandon team early in game and Bandon raced into an 9 point lead. Castlehaven settled and got a vital goal before half time to keep them in the game . Bandon lead at half time by 1-10pts to 1-04pts. The second half was an excellent game of football with both teams playing attacking football .Castlehaven cut the deficit to 4 pts but Bandon got 2 goals midway through the second half to extend their lead. The Catlehaven junior 3 team played neighbours Kilmacabea in Moneyvollahane in the championship on Saturday evening. Castlehaven fielded a team of youthful and experienced players . The game was played in gale force conditions and Kilmacabea used the elements in the first half to have a commanding lead at half time 3-09pts to
0-2pts .
