U12 A league vs Carbery Rangers on Mon. 18th away 7pm The Castlehaven U16 team registered their second league victory of the the week ,when they defeated Clonakilty at home on Wednesday evening . Castlehaven had the wind advantage for the first half and scored some fine points to take an early lead . Clonakilty kept in touch with an early goal and got a second one just before half time . Castlehaven lead at half time by 0-9 to 2-0 . The visitors got a dream start to the second half ,when they scored their third goal to draw level . Clonakilty were now back in the game and had the strong wind for the rest of the match .Castlehaven responded with some brilliant football and dominated the last twenty minutes . They went on to win the game by 2-17 to 4-01 .

The Castlehaven U12D team played their first league game away to Castletownbere last Saturday evening . It was an excellent game played in very heavy underfoot conditions .A physically stronger home team got two late goals ,to win the game by 5-03 to 2-06 .The Castlehaven panel Daniel Cleary ,Jack Moloney ,Donal O Callaghan ,Daniel Courtney (Captain ) ,William O Donovan ,Ryan McCarthy Shane O Connell ,James Buckley 0-1,Mark Crowley 0-1 ,Mícheál Maguire 0-4 Danny O Donovan ,Davin limrick 1-0 ,Eoin Maguire 1-0 .
Michael Hurley was excellent for the Cork U21 team that defeated Kerry last Thursday in the Munster final .They now play Monaghan next Saturday in Tullamore for the All Ireland semi final .
