There was no winner of the weekly club lotto ,the numbers drawn were 5-12-23 , next weeks draw will take place in the Paragon with a jackpot of €3,400 The Castlehaven senior team picked up the league points last Sunday
with a good victory over Valley Rovers in Brinny . Castlehaven used
the wind advantage for the first half to raced into an early lead by
1-4 to 0-1 after fifteen minutes . A physically strong home team
stuck back with a goal before half time to cut the deficit
.Castlehaven lead at half time by 1-4 to 1-2 .For the second half
both teams were very defensive and scores were hard to get .
Castlehaven kicked two important points midway through the second half
to extend their lead by 4pts .Valleys rallied and scored some late
points but the Haven held on to win by 1-12 to 1-6 .The team P Hurley

Colm O Driscoll was in goal for the Limerick IT team the beat Queens
last Thursday in the Sigerson cup quarter final .It was a hugh result
for Limerick IT they now play UCD in the semi final on Friday 19th
February in Belfast .
At the Carbery 2016 championship draws on Monday night the Junior 1
team play Ballinascarthy in the 1st round and the U21 team play
Newcestown in the quarter finals . .
The Castlehaven ladies club had four players Rachel Whelton ,Shelly
Daly , Katie Cronin , Rachel Deasy playing for Mercy Heights in the
Munster junior ladies final last Friday against Rathmore college . The
game was very competitive in the first half ,but the more experienced
Rathmore team went on to win the match .
