There was no winner of the weekly club lotto. The numbers drawn were 6-16-17, next week´s draw will take place at Tragumna with a jackpot of €7,000.
The Castlehaven senior team had a excellent win over St. Finbarrs in Clonakilty on Saturday evening. It was a very good game, with both teams playing attacking football. Castlehaven started nervously and the Barrs raced into an early lead. Castlehaven played some great football for the next twenty minutes to lead at half time by 7pts. To 4pts. The second half was a typical Castlehaven, Barrs championship game full of drama and good football. Castlehaven raced into a 5pt.lead in the second half but the Barrs drew level with 10 mins remaining. Castlehaven responded with a brilliant Michael Hurley goal and held on to win by 1-14 to 1-10. The Castlehaven supporters were very happy with the style of football played and the commitment of all the players during the game.

The great run the Castlehaven Junior 1 team had in the championship ended on Sunday evening in Rosscarbery where they lost to a superior Bandon team. Bandon were by far the better balanced team and dominated the match from the beginning. The Castlehaven players tried their best and never gave up but were beaten by the better Bandon team full time score 1-15 to 1-6. The team C O Driscoll, R Walsh, P O Brien, D Whelton, C Nolan 0-2, L Collins, S Hurley 0-1, D Hurley, D Shanahan, A Cahalane, C Cahalane 0-1, P Bohane 0-1, E Dennhey 1-0, I Cahalane, C Maguire 0-1. Subs: K Hegarty. Overall the Junior 1 panel had a reasonably successful season, winning three championship matches and contesting the divisional semi final.
The Castlehaven U12 D panel completed their league campaign with a good win over St. Oliver Plunketts last week in The Blackfield. They won by 4-15 to 1-9 and as a result they top their section of the league. The Castlehaven panel B Crowley, U O Donovan, S Browne, J O Neill, D Buckley, S Fuller, P Taylor, R O Driscoll, E McNulty, M Maguire, S O Connell, M Crowley, R Minihane.
