There were no winners of this weeks Jackpot prize of €5000 nor were there any Match 3 prize winners.
Next week's Match 3 jackpot therefore rises to €450 and the overall Jackpot rises to €5200.
Turning of the sod ! ================
Last evening -Tuesday 27th August witnessed a large gathering to celebrate Rev David Hutton Bury (who very generously donated the site) break the fertile soli and turn the initial sod for the Community Centre. We have our initial funding in place and groundswork is due to start in the coming few days. This could not happen without your valuable support for our project. The ceremony was attended by Fr Martin Carley PP and Fr Johnny McEvoy SSC. Cllr John Leahy (John has provided massive support and help to our Finance Committee) also spoke at the officiating ceremony as did the Chairman of Mucklagh Community Development Phillip Barron. -. Cllr Declan Harvey also attended. MC on the night was Declan Costello of Offaly Local Development. Many thanks to all to helped with audio & refreshments afterwards.
