Ronan Duhan is a proud member of Sarsfields GAA Club with whom he played with for many years and was selector of club teams. In later years Ronan was a key sponsor of the club. Ronan is 43 years old, partner to Siobhan and they have three daughters Aoibheann, Alanna and Saoirse.
Ronan was involved in a devastating car accident on 10th March this year. This horrific event left Ronan with a traumatic brain injury and numerous other severe injuries.
Ronan spent some time in Beaumont Hospital before being transferred to the high dependency unit in UCHG and is now in Merlin Park Hospital rehabilitation facility waiting on a vacancy inDun LaoghaireNational Rehabilitation Unit.
Ronan's requirements will include significant home adaptions, the need for extensive equipment to ensure his safe and dignified care at home as well as long term input from occupational therapy and physiotherapy personnel.
Currently, Ronan is entirely dependent on others for every aspect of his daily life including self-care, feeding and hygiene.

Your support can make a significant difference to Ronan s life, helping to ease the financial strain and allow him to focus on what matters most; his recovery.

Galway Bay FM match preview
Sarsfields are just 60 minutes away from a sixth successive Windows & Rooflights Ltd senior A camogie title when they take on St. Thomas' this Sunday (27th October).

It's the blue and red's first appearance in the decider since going down to the same opposition in 2019.  But a new generation of stars representing the Kilchreest/Peterswell outfit have brought them back to camogie's biggest day, just 12 months after winning the Senior B competition.

St. Thomas' topped their group before beating Oranmore/Maree 2-12 to 0-13 in the semi-final.  But they did suffer defeat to Sarsfields (1-19 to 1-7) along the way.  That being said, Sarsfields needed extra-time before overcoming Athenry 2-18 to 0-17 two weeks ago.
