Sarsfields v Castlegar
Galway Out of the Senior Hurling Championship
In the end, it was not to be Galway’s day as they were beaten by Dublin at Pearse Stadium in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.
Dublin’s 2-27 to 1-24 win meant that Galway finished fourth and are out of the Leinster and All-Ireland Championships for 2024.

CAMOGIE: Galway senior manager Cathal Murray has made four changes for Saturday’s second game of the All-Ireland championship against Wexford.
Katie Manning, Ally Hesnan, Carrie Dolan and Mairead Dillon come in for Rachael Hanniffy, AnnMarie Starr, Ailish O’Reilly and Orlaith McGrath.
Throw in at Bellefield, Enniscorthy on Saturday is 2pm and we’ll have LIVE coverage here on Galway Bay FM.
The intermediate team has also been named for their championship opener at the same time in Carnmore.
