The numbers drawn on Monday night were 8, 14, 15, 17. There was no winner. There were 3 “match three’s”; Michael Kenny, Tom Monaghan, Alan Cannon & David Corcoran. The seller’s prizes went to Teresa Coen, Sean Poland, Michael Hynes. The next draw for a jackpot of €5,800 takes place in The Harbour Bar on Monday, July 3.
As all championships are commencing we would encourage you all to participate in our club lotto. Not alone will you have the chance to win, but you are helping provide much needed funds for the many teams fielding at both juvenile and senior levels.

GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship Galway 1-20 1-18 Tipperary
The All-Ireland semi-finals will be a repeat of last year, with defending champions, Limerick taking on Galway in Croke Park on Saturday week, followed the next day by Kilkenny v Clare, also in Croke Park.
Galway booked their semi-final place with a two-point win over Tipperary in the quarterfinal while Clare had eighteen points to spare over Dublin in the other quarter-final.
Limerick beat Galway by three points (0-27 to 1-21) in last year’s semi-final, having beaten them by the same amount in the 2020 semi-final also.
Kilkenny beat Clare by 2-26 to 0-20 in last year’s semi-final.
Limerick are bidding to reach the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final for a fourth successive year and the fifth time in six seasons.
Galway were last in the final in 2018, Kilkenny were in last year’s final, and Clare last reached the final in 2013.

A busy weekend for intercounty with 3 county teams out in action.
On saturday the seniors are away to Down in their 3rd and final game of the Senior Championship. Best of luck to Maria, Orlaith, Sarah, Shannon & Siobhain.
Also saturday the intermediates are away to Cork in their 3rd and final game. Best of Luck to Joanne & Reitseal.
On Sunday the U16 team play Cork in their round 4 match in Duggan Park. Best of luck to Emily, Laoise and Mary Brigid.

SCHOLARSHIPS
ECC Sports Scholarship Award winners for 2023, are Niamh Divilly (Ladies Football), Shannon Corcoran (Camogie), Réitseal Kelly (Camogie), Tiernan Leen (Hurling) and Liam O Conghaile (Gaelc Football).
The Shining Star Award went to Portumna and Galway Camogie player Alannah Kelly, a scholarship winner in 2021. Huge thanks to PJ & Mary Fahy and family.
