Senior Hurling Championship Final 1 30 PM Pearse Stadium Loughrea 0-20 1-17 St Thomas Shane Hynes
The Galway SHC final replay between Loughrea and St Thomas' will take place at Pearse Stadium next Sunday, 27th at 1pm.
A late, late point from Tiernan Killeen earned Loughrea a dramatic 0-20 to 1-17 draw with their five-in-a-row chasing neighbours at the Salthill venue yesterday. The replay will boost Galway GAA coffers after a crowd of 6,000 attended the drawn encounter.
SILVER JUBILEE
Huge congratulations to our senior team of 1997 who were honoured in Pearse Stadium on County Final Day. 25 years ago Padraig Kelly became the first captain to lift the Tom Callanan cup.
