COUNTY FOOTBALL FINAL
Moycullen and Salthill-Knocknacarra will square off for the Frank Fox Cup on Sunday following their respective semi-final wins over Mountbellew-Moylough and Annaghdown.
Moycullen ended Mountbellew-Moylough's reign with an impressive 3-9 to 0-9 victory at Pearse Stadium. Micheál O’Reilly, Sean Kelly and Niall Walsh grabbed the goals for the West Galway outfit who led by 1-6 to 0-4 at half-time.
O'Reilly netted late in the first half after a goalkeeping mistake and Moycullen never looked back after that.
In the other semi-final, John O'Mahony's Salthill-Knocknacarra accounted for Damien Comer's Annaghdown by 1-12 to 0-9. Robert Finnerty and Tomo Culhane scored 0-9 between them for the winners, with Cathal Sweeney raising the only green flag early in the second half.
