AIB All-Ireland Club SHC final
Ballyhale Shamrocks (Kilkenny) v Ballygunner (Waterford), Croke Park, 3pm (TG4)
Today's AIB All-Ireland Club SHC Final between Ballyhale Shamrocks and Ballygunner is a proper heavyweight clash.
Ballyhale are going for a third All-Ireland title in a row and boast a forward line most inter-county teams would be thrilled to call upon.
Ballygunner have been in sensational form in recent weeks, playing like a well oiled machine that combines a very tight defence with an attack that can also put up big numbers.

NOEL TREACY RIP (Former County Chairman)
Noel had a lifelong involvement in GAA, through his club Padraig Pearses and as an officer of Galway GAA.
An avid GAA man, he had a deep interest and support for all aspects of the association and possessed a great love for the Irish language.
Noel had a great ability to communicate with people and an unrivalled work ethic that defined his successful career.
Noel held numerous positions within his club over the years before being elected Chairperson of Galway GAA in 2012 serving a 5-year term.
He also represented Galway as a Connacht Council Delegate.

Current County Chairperson Paul Bellew said,
“On behalf of Galway GAA, I express our deepest sympathies to Mary, Joan, Emer, Lisa, Rory and Noel’s extended family on his passing.
As well as serving as County Chairperson, Noel was a fellow Padraig Pearses clubman and was a driving force of our club at all levels as a player, manager, administrator and a constant supporter of the black and white.
His passion and energy for all things Galway was always clearly evident.
He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and the whole Galway GAA community.”
