Welcome to the Sarsfields Weekly Newsletter ahead of the Minor/Senior All-Ireland weekend.
As its All-Ireland weekend, we wish the best of luck to two Galway teams. Good luck to the Galway Minors against Tipperary, and Good luck to the Galway Seniors against Kilkenny. Its been a thrilling year already lads - thank you.
2015 August 31 : Sarsfields Hurling Club lotto
The numbers drawn on 31 August were: 6, 17, 29, 31.
There were no jackpot winners, there were 3 'match three' winners: B Dwyer, Sean Daly, Mary Gorman.
The sellers' prize went to Emer Cooney and Joe Burke.
Next week's draw, for a jackpot of €18,300 will be held in the Harbour Bar, Bullaun on Tuesday 8 September.

Juvenile Club News/Fixtures/Results :
U13 County final; A fine game of hurling between two excellent hurling teams on the day, but hard luck & also well done to the U13 panel and management last week. Scoreline 2-06 to 2-03 at full time. Just a goal needed to level the match shows how small the difference was between two excellent hurling teams on the day. The club wishes you the best at U14 A and Feile for next year.

Congratulations to Galways & Sarsfields Rachel Murphy, Sinead Cannon, Sarah Spellman, Siobhan Mc Grath, Yvonne Lyons, Erica Leslie, Tony Ward and the entire Galway Under 16 squad on winning the All-Ireland Final v Cork last Sunday at Nenagh.

Congrats to Shamrocks who beat Cappataggle in the B Final in a very close and exciting game and Well Done to our Sarsfields girls who won the A Final v Davitts. Davitts were a great challenge, and we hope you enjoyed every minute.
Thanks to the 5 teams who travelled- Athenry, Davitts, Shamrocks, Kiltormer and Cappataggle plus their management and parents.
A special thanks to the Tierney family Teresa, Rebekah, Sara and Rachel for their support and help in running this tournament each year.

The Galway Camogie All-Ireland Champions will be finishing up their tour of the clubs in New Inn Leisure Centre tomorrow evening Friday 4 Sept, come out and cheer around 9pm to help congratulate Rachel Murphy, Sinead Cannon, Sarah Spellman, Siobhan Mc Grath, Yvonne Lyons, Erica Leslie and the Galway under 16s on their great win last Sunday in Nenagh.
