Well done to our camogie players Kim Kickey, Suin Keating and Celine Atanacio who played in the Under 16A All Ireland Semi Final against Wexford at the weekend, it was a tough game but unfortunately on the day they were narrowly beaten.  Our Club Camp is currently underway for boys & girls ages 5-13 – this is the last camp of the summer. A lot of hard work has gone into organising 4 camps this summer so many thanks to everybody involved. Following the end of camp on Friday we have our next “Kids Movie Time” 2.30pm-4.30pm.  This is a fundraiser for one of our Lip Sync Groups.  Admission is €5 which includes a goodie bag - the movie this week is Baby Boss.   On Saturday morning the 19th August we have our Car Boot Sale - Cars/Small Vans €15. No food/Drink sellers allowed.  Contact Hughie 086 1000235 to book place or for further info.   Come down and grab a bargain! Also this Saturday evening the club is hosting a Memorial Gaelic Football game at 6.30pm to honour our gentle giant Tomas Mulligan. 30 players from each side of the Liffey will face off!  The Northside selection will include Alan Brogan, Vinnie Murphy, Senan Connell and many more.  The Southside selection will include Ray Cosgrove, Coman Goggins, Johnny McNally, Paul Griffin and more. Many thanks to Conexim Financial Services for sponsoring the jerseys for the game and to Stephen Hoary for his key involvement in organising the event.  Drop down and support the game. Another date for your diary is Saturday 16th September @ 8pm we have our “Football Final Preview” with special guests Mickey Whelan, Vinnie Murphy, Dave Foran and more.  The event is hosted by John Duggan from Today FM and afterward there will be music from The Beermats.  This event is by ticket only – Strictly Over 18’s Event.  Tickets cost €15 and are available from Hughie Cullen.  Function Room doors open at 7pm.
