It was a very busy weekend for matches over the weekend so congratulations to our juvenile football and camogie teams who had some great performances and wins in their various matches. Many thanks to Paddy Baker who has launched our “Skills Board”. This is now on display just outside our club hall and is aimed to promote the development of skills both at home and in training. It is also designed to give new parents a basic understanding of the correct technique of some of the skills. Currently it is aimed at players aged 4 to 13 however it will be expanded to cover the older age group shortly. Please take a look at it and send any feedback to pro.goodcounsel.dublin@gaa.ie. During Mid Term, we are running an Advanced Hurling, Football and Camogie Camp on Tues 21st and Wed 22nd February 12pm-3pm both days. It is open to players on our Under 13 to Under 18 teams. Dublin players will be coaching and the cost is €10. Contact Paddy Baker on 085 1403794 to book. Club Registration fees are now overdue – please see website www.goodcounsel.ie for various payment methods. Players will not be eligible to train or play matches as they will not be registered or covered by insurance unless payment is received. Music in the Club Bar this Saturday 18th Feb will be with Martin Rooney – 10pm until late. Bingo continues in the Club on Wednesdays at 8.30pm, set-dancing Mondays from 8pm.
