Football News

Our Minors play Killanin in the Championship Semi Final in Oughterard on Wednesday @ 6.30pm. All support is needed !

Our Juniors defeated St Michaels in the second round of their Championship by 3.09 to 1.11. Well done to all.

Our U16's lost out to Barna by a single point last Tuesday in the first round of their championship.

Our Seniors defeated Headford on Sunday evening in Corofin in the Intermediate Championship by 1.12 to 0.09 to book their semi final place. Well done !

And last but not least our U12s dug out a hard earned 3 point victory 2.15 to 4.6, against Oranmore/Maree despite having a number of key players playing  All Ireland Basketball Finals and some dubious refereeing !

Well done to the U13 Community Games Basketball team who won All Ireland Gold at the weekend ! Moycullen Abu !

Hurling News

Our U13s suffered the cruelty of a two point lead when conceding a final minute goal to Ardrahan in the A1 Cup Semi Final on Saturday after a heroic display. Well done to a great bunch of lads who finish the season with the highest county ranking of any team in the club for 2014 and they can now only be outdone by U15, who throw in in a fortnight!

On Wednesday, our Intermediate team engaged in some shadow boxing in an away League game in Cappataggle ahead of the real deal this weekend in Championship. Cappataggle had a comfortable win against a selection with many absentees but let's hope it's a different story this weekend
